About Robert Sabes
Business leader Robert Sabes currently serves as chairman and chief executive officer at RW Sabes Enterprises in Las Vegas. Over the course of his career as an entrepreneur, Robert Sabes has developed a number of bar and restaurant concepts, including the Freight House, Minus 5 Ice Bar, and Burgers Bagels.
Early in his career, Mr. Sabes worked for the American Fruit & Produce Company for more than a decade, assisting the food service division in his roles as director and manager. Following that, he founded Hospitality Plus, Inc., a firm that operated several food service properties.
An active philanthropist, he chairs the Sabes Family Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting education, health research, and other causes. The foundation furnished $100,000 for The Blake School, which used the money to renovate and expand its Highcroft campus. Additionally, the organization granted $25,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Association and $50,000 to Metropolitan State University’s business school.
In his private life, Mr. Sabes stays active by biking, golfing, and reading. He also enjoys traveling to destinations around the world.
